Name:[/u] "Marco"
Race:[/u] Generally human
Background:"Marco" is actually an alias used by members of a group of 12 rogue monster slayers. Information on the group's exact origins is lost to all but the group's members and the Slayer Guild's highest officials, and both groups keep the secret as well as they can. A possible hint is that records indicate that the group made itself known shortly after the successful annihilation of the southern dragon communities*.
Appearance:[/u]
While in combat, a Marco will wear a black armor that conceals their identity. The only difference between the group's individual armors is the various pieces of cloth and other accessories which are unique between members and help to identify which person plays which role when fighting as a team. Also, male and female armors have slight differences from each other, for various reasons.
Abilities:[/b]
Specialization: Each Marco has a particular talent or set of skills that they have specialized in and trained in. This corresponds with the role each one plays when fighting in a team.
Weapon Mastery: While each of the 12 Marcos are specialized in a different field, each individual is also highly skilled with melee weaponry, primarily the sword and the spear.
Slayer Techniques: Being monster slayers, each Marco is well-versed in methods of combating paranormal entities such as magical creatures. Each one also knows a form of a technique that involves getting high into the air, falling, and delivering a fatal blow to whoever they land on. This technique is only really effective against slow-moving targets, as it is fairly easy to dodge, though many of the variations also release an AoE-type attack on impact (though this AoE is nowhere near as destructive).
*Reminder: Observer is from the north.
Warnings:[/u]
-If you are a spellcaster, you are better off not trying to pick a fight with one of these guys.
-Only two Marcos will be introduced if there isn't some reason to drag the other ten in.
-They are generally immune to damage from falling when they are wearing their armor. This is mostly to make it to where they do not end up killing themselves with the Dragoon Jump technique.
Advice:[/u]
-These guys, as characters, are specifically designed to not do very well in fights with reploids or other robots. They are generally great melee combatants, but they're only human. They aren't supermen. An equally-skilled reploid will be able to handle either of the two Marcos I plan to introduce. Possibly both.
