Yeah, seeing as I've been playing Silent Hill lately, this made me think..
Each of us #foresters probably have like deep, troubled and traumatic pasts and all. I know you guys are all murderers or something ;3
Nah, just kidding.
But yeah..
Seeing as Silent Hill apparently changes it's appearances to match the sh*t that is wrong in a person's mind... What types of things would YOU people encounter there? ( Honestly, murders or something are probably out of the question. General insecurities given flesh can also be possible. )
I'll write my own sometime later too. :3
Have fun~ :3

My Silent Hill, huh...
For starters, I'm very shy and quiet. So I bet there'll be monsters without faces, or that constantly hide their faces, that are very silent as they attack or that you just see fleeing from you.
I'm paranoid - always thinking that maybe people hate me. Maybe they're talking about me behind my back. Maybe they're just acting nice to me when I'm not there... Monsters much like Boos, I reckon. They're nice and happy and cute when you look at them, but as soon as you turn your back on them, they attack, and as soon as you hit them, they also attack.
Loud noises - certain frequencies of sound hurt my ears very easily. Expect much glass-shattering, loud laughter, applauds and other sounds of that frequency. There is quite possibly an auditorium, as they echo very easily.
I'm rather nervous - always afraid to mess up, and often refraining from doing something because of that fear. That will come into play - in order to continue through the nightmare-like world, I'll most likely be forced to do those things I tend not to do, even though I know I'm not good enough, that I'll mess up.
My mother's angered voice frightens me very easily - I love my mother, but I'm frightened of her voice when she shrieks. She'll most likely be a boss, as savage verbally as physically.
The older of my brothers - I used to like him much more, but after he left home, he... changed. It's hard for me to like him anymore, it's like he's another person. A hypocrite, an easily angered young man who doesn't realize that he himself has the faults that he screams at other people for having. He'd be a boss too, most likely.
It's not a big secret that I have Aspergers. While I don't think I need any help, other people seem to think I do need that help, and try to give me such things. As a result, there would probably be some kind of asylum or psychiatrist's office, a manifestation of how they seem to act. I don't need their help, I'm not like those people, I'm not... The people who do need help are probably in that place. Bearing some similarity to me, but still not. Still way different.
The younger of my brothers - the one I feel the most at home with, and like the most. Wherever he is, is safe. He'd be the one I came there with, and if he vanished I'd be searching for him. That'd be my goal - the reason I don't give up, the knowledge that there IS a safe place, as long as I can find him...
Sadist - my sadistic streak. This will probably come into place in both monsters and decor. Dead people, torn open and torn apart in various horrible ways, some still alive and breathing and crying. Monsters with limbs or bodyparts torn straight off, screeching loudly and speaking of disturbing things.
Blood - though I like seeing blood in movies and games, I feel sick when seeing it for real. Not grossed out, just... Sick. As though I'll throw up, a sudden nausea. Expect there to be a lot of blood.
My dog - the small, black dog. I'm worried to go near him when he growls, as he may start barking at any moment, and barks are among the sounds I'm sensitive to. Barking black dog monsters?
There's probably gonna be a dentist's place somewhere, as well as a small hospital. I have blacked out, after all, due to my low blood pressure. Maybe it'd be a combined place, dentist and hospital in one? I dunno.
Toys - I'm a plushie lover... There'd probably be an amusement park, full of monster-versions of all those plushies you can win at the stands. Maybe having torn apart the owners of the stands and whatever plushies didn't go "RAWR EVIL".
Maze - my sense of direction is downright terrible. I bet there'll be a maze, just to spite me.
Fake faces - it's way too easy to hide how I feel on the 'net. I've done it a few times, just write normally and nobody will notice your sorrow. A puzzle with masks is probably going to be involved, and certain monsters are probably going to wear masks so you can't see what they look like.
Drawings - Scribbles on the walls, perhaps they look like things and perhaps they don't. Will most likely be found in the asylum and places like that. Picture puzzle will be involved at some point.
That's all I can think of at the moment...

Interesting... Here's my personal go at it. I'll devide the description into parts... First I'll describe the monsters, then the area, then possible puzzles and such. Because I don't really have issues with any family members, those probably wouldn't be appearing in my Silent Hill adventure.
Monsters: Anger Basically.. I get pissed off quite easily, but I try to repress it, because I don't want to go off like a bomb and possibly hurt people by saying stuff I don't actually mean. This repressed anger would probably be symbolized by a monster that looks human and acts human from a distance, but when you near it, it turns into an evil, featureless creature, the only vaguely human thing being left of it being it's bodily shape.
Mouthlock Represents my general dislike of repetition.. I seriously don't like having to repeat myself alot. This would represent itself as a formless, flesh-like blob with only a giant either male or female ( with lipstick and all ) mouth on it, with a large lock going through it. It'd appear only in specific areas.
The Group-Hugger One of my fears is a fear of being alone for the rest of my life. I really need contact with people almost every moment of the day. I dunno why. This is represented by a large, ball-like thing, with numerous arms, legs and faces sprouting out of it.
Unknown Not unlike alot of people, I also fear the unknown. This'd probably be a boss of sorts, I guess. Represented by a very tall, genderless figure without a real body, more like a giant walking shadow pulling a large, spiked baseball bat behind itself.
Sadistic Crawler Like CC, I'm also a bit of a sadist.. I laugh at other people's suffering. Quite often. Represented by a gagged, crawling humanoid without arms, it's eyes covered with several blindfolds and it's body wrapped up in bandages mostly.
Still Dolls & Puppet Trooper Out of all the things I dislike, the worst would probably be dolls. Thus, there'd be quite a lot of them. Humanoid ones, animal ones... Giant ones and tiny ones.. They look nice, but when you approach them, they attack you with weapons. One of them would probably be a boss;
A giant ventriloquist doll modeled after a kid, suspended from the ceiling with a chain from it's head, the person moving it being a corpse-like creature whose lower body is embedded in a vertical wall. It'd attack by vomiting acid or slashing at you.
Virtual Creeper I'm too much of an internet addict... This'd probably represent itself in several ways, not only as a creature. The creature representation would be a giant mutated spider-like thing that attacks from inside a computer, but only when it's turned on too long.
The Dreamstalker I like dreaming... This'll most definitely be used against me. Possibly in the form of special dream worlds, sort of like the alternate world concept you see in Silent Hill 0rigins.. These creatures would be there. Humanoid, naked and genderless creatures with plaguemasks and large meatcleavers.
Arachnophob I don't like spiders, not at all. I hate them. Thus, a spider would probably also be a boss. Represented by a HUGE spider in a rather small apartement chamber. The spider would have a twisted human face, and instead of those spider-legs it'd have 8 burnt human legs with feet.
The Men Of Fire I am not too keen on the idea of catching fire, or having my house catch fire. This'll probably also be embodied there. In the form of.. Figures, not like firemen entirely, but rather, faceless zombies in torn and burnt firemen outfits.
The rest of the fears and problems and all that would represent themselves as puzzles or areas, and I'll get to those in a later post

Hmm.... Well, since I have nothing better to do.
Fears, monsters and places:
Let's see... I really haven't thought about them, so..
Afraid of the dark - It's a most common fear and I can stand being in the dark a little better now. I really haven't played a lot of silent hill games, but I guess I can say that it'll have rooms that are just pitch black. Not even able to see your hand in front of your face.
Getting too close to people - I don't know why, but I seem to have this problem. I feel like if I get too close to someone i'll just end up getting hurt by them some how. Which is why I have a lot of friends, but not too many that I can call 'best friends'. So, there would probably be little disfigured kids that have sharp items and would try to walk up to me saying little things like "Help me." or "Will you play with me?" If you get too close to them they would most likely shriek and run at me, trying to stab me to death.
My older brother - His temper rises fairly quickly whenever my mother and him have a small argument. I usually stay on his good side, just because I hate hearing him yell. With that being said, there would probably be a creature that is a blob like being that is a mess of blood, veins, and muscle that tries to crush me whenever I go near it or attack it. It would have a disfigured burnt head in the middle that yells at me whenever it attacks.
The devil and the demonic - This fear goes with the fear of darkness.. I dabble in some books i'm probably not supposed to be reading like the occult, tarot cards, and a few other things, including alchemy. Since i've begun reading things like that, strange things have been happening in my house. A week ago I found a rotting piece of meat on my window seal. I've been getting strange nightmares, and hearing things while trying to sleep. The most current was me getting the feeling of someone pulling my feet while sleeping. I also fear checking if anything's there because I would imagine a type of ghost/demon floating above me staring at me with this distorted nasty look.. Ok, so there would be monsters that would try to grab me while in dark places, like hands coming out of the shadows, or something.
The future / the unknown - I seem to be scared of things to come, since I usually don't know what i'll do, or what'll happen. The environment would most likely be a large slab of concrete that's almost never ending, it would also be obscured by fog, or smoke. There would be a large run down, burnt factory. Inside it there would most likely be elevators that seem to go down into the pits of hell, or what seems like it. There would be lots of rusted objects and the walls would be distorted and curved, with the echoing sounds of scraping and screaming. Most of the lights probably would be broken to add to this fear.
Losing myself - I also fear of losing myself in the "crowd" or trying too hard to fit in and lose who -I- really am. This would probably be part of why i'm there.. I would most likely be called to go that place, since everyone said it's a cool place to go to, or something. Along the way I would lose anyone that I was going with by losing sight of them, or something.
I might post more about monsters and places later...

AWRIGHT
More ideas!
Creature:
Injection Needles... Give me... The creeps. SRSLY. Obviously, this needs an embodiment! Therefor, there'd be like... Men or women with no real bodily features, in doctor attire... With large syringe arms. They'd stalk you too, even into other rooms.
A few locations:
Judgement I.. loathe people that judge everyone on appearances and tastes, not on personality. I think this'd be represented as a sort of... burnt down, dark and creepy court. There'd be a whole bunch of monsters that look identical to each other, also doing the same thing all the time.
Destruction Ravaged scenery somewhat intrigues me... Not so much all the people that lose their lives in it, but abandoned and destroyed houses and places have this certain atmosphere aroudn them which interest me. Therefor, there'd probably be like apartements that are completely torn apart and burnt forests or something like that.
Reading I... Like reading. Alot of other people don't, but I do. A large, bloody library would therefor show up, with Still Dolls, Mouthlocks and Sadistic Crawlers creeping around there.
Puzzle:
Destruction As I noted above, destruction. Reassembling a strangely shaped statue, also having to collect the pieces to it in diverse rooms
More later

More stuff from myself...
Static. For some reason, I hate static and things shifting/morphing into other things. Not as in shapeshifters, but as in words shifting slowly into other words. I really don't know why. I'm not sure how this will be represented either, probably just in those rooms that do nothing but MESS WITH YOUR HEAD. Possibly also in a puzzle, machines that show only static and a few letters each, and you have to puzzle together a password from that.
Weakness - afraid of being left behind, forgotten or seen as weak during PE, I've started to do as much as I can and try my best. To the point that I may have hurt my partner during boxing, I don't know there, and to the point that I gave my own body a shock and caused it to go "Oh God stop wait this is wrong what are you doing D: *FEEL SICK*". As a result, there would probably be situations or puzzles where I'm completely helpless, or am forced to give myself another such shock in order to escape being killed. I'm leaning toward the previous one, though, as that's much easier to do if you want to screw with someone.
Actually, as a side note, is there any food AT ALL in Silent Hill? I mean, do the characters have to do everything on a possibly empty stomach?
Cat's Tongue - I burn my mouth easily, and can't eat hot food. I bet that any food I find will be burning hot... It could also be seen as lava monsters.

... Well, they have energy drinks... Also, corpses... They could eat those. Or table legs and tires or something.
