Race: Reploid
--biography--
Unlike other residents, Kikari was 'born' on Koniki. He was created to be the son of a man named Alec, and
aid him in his job of helping others. However, when he was one year old, Alec was murdered by mavericks
who had become interested in Kikari, and he was forced into becoming one of them. He was forced into
many things he wasn't proud of, up to and including murder, and due to escape attempts had his sense of
directions destroyed.
He begun to search for people that could help him flee, and once he managed to escape he followed the
only such people he found. They understood his plight and let him come with them, the group eventually
finding and settling down in the clearing.
Having nowhere else to go, as the cities shunned and hated him for his crimes, Kikari remained in the
clearing even as the others left. He started to gain friends in the others who would appear in the clearing,
and in an effort to hide from and make up for his crimes he begun caring for the others and trying to help
them stay safe. He became rather popular, both among friends and enemies, and was very often targetted
by attacks. Often having to be rescued and distressingly often being the weakest in the group, along with
verbal abuse from one of his friends, his self-confidence was eventually worn down to nothing and he
begun seeing himself as a useless liability.
Still, he tried his best to be kind and helpful, becoming close friends with many others, the closest of
which were **Devic**, **Crimson** and **Horseman**. He also gained a crush on a fairy woman named
Jess, although he was never brave enough to tell her. He gained many enemies as well, **Rage** and the
demon **Monde** particularly, the latter of which abused his kindness to decieve him and give him
permanent mental scars.
Eventually, he started adopting wild animals he found wounded, which extended to picking up a zombie he
recognized as a girl he earlier failed to help. His girlfriend at the time, a woman named Claire and leader of
a base of clones, helped him find a cure and turn the girl into a normal person again, after which he
adopted her as **his daughter**. As well, after finding a genie, Claire let Kikari have a wish and he used it
to bring his father back to life.
But Claire was very sex-craving, something Kikari was unable and unwilling to give her, which caused a rift
of awkwardness between the two. Kikari lost his mind from stress (something that had briefly happened in
the past, but not as severe), and Claire abused his basically braindead state to use him as a sex toy,
something which caused them to break up as Kikari was horrified and distressed after he recovered -
seeing it as though she had raped him.
One day, Horseman suddenly admitted to Kikari that he was in love with him. He was confused and
shocked, and before he could sort out his feelings on the matter Horseman grew tired of waiting for his
answer and left. This further upset Kikari, as the emotion had torn up their friendship and Horseman
seemed to avoid him, and he begun to dislike love as a whole. Although Horseman later returned,
interactions continue to be awkward as the subject continues to get brought up.
After missing for months, Jess was found murdered. Kikari reacted badly; they wouldn't tell him who her
murderer was, and once he found out it was Rage he searched out and killed him even though he was
already badly wounded and helpless. This marked the last occasion he willingly killed another being, and
as he was yelled at for the action he begun to feel guilty over what he had done.
He found another lost girl that he adopted as his own, and more and more animals. After rescuing another
reploid girl from mavericks, Nema, the two begun to grow close and Kikari let her stay in his room. Nema
vanished, however, and when she returned Kikari had a new girl. He decided to reject both instead of favor
one, which lead to Nema running away and being tricked by Monde who used her to get to Kikari; though
she was saved, the demon had scarred her and she was afraid of people, aside from Kikari who took care of
her as a result. They grew closer, and eventually he came to see her as his girlfriend.
His self-confidence gradually grew better, and despite having a home with his father, he prefers to stay in
the clearing where all his friends are, and protect those who come there.
--Appearance--
His body is colored in a yellow, almost gold-like "skin" armor. Covering his upper body and forearms is a
thicker, black armor. He has yellow hands, and black boots with yellow soles that are red at the top. There
are red bracelets around his ankles and wrists. On his back are two small and black bat-like wings with red
wing membranes. He wears a black helmet with four yellow horns on it, two aimed upward and two aimed
backward. A blue gem is positioned on the forehead of the helmet. There are two yellow marks on Kikari's
cheeks, and he has purple eyes. Beneath the helmet, he has black hair with yellow edges.
He sometimes carries a dark brown bag around his neck. His swords are triangular blades made of blue
energy. He has a rather feminine build, making it somewhat difficult to discern his gender. When they're
not in use, he stores his blades just by the base of his wings.
--Abilities--
Kikari is able to fly very well.
He's a good airborne fighter, but has trouble on the ground or in enclosed areas. Underwater, he's
completely useless.
He doesn't have to breathe! Though, getting smoke and such in him still isn't good.
He's pretty good at making others feel guilty, although it's subconscious on his end. He has quite good
puppy eyes.
He's a very good cook! Though he can't eat his own food, as human food makes him sick.
He's a danger magnet: He's become infamous for managing to get attacked by basically every villain that
has appeared.
He's good with animals and people, and tends to befriend everyone he comes across. Animals often seem
to be fond of him.
--Trivia--
Kikari used to have a phobia of lightning, but it's faded now that he has an electric pokemon as a pet. His
broken navigational system has been repaired, as well.
Kikari's heavily claustrophobic and panics if trapped in a small area.
Others point out that he's a child fairly often; he denies it, but it's true.
He's often mistaken for a girl, which bothers him to no end.
He gets lonely easily, and turns to a more puppy-eye state when he is.

Name: Sepia
Age: Unknown
Height: 2'0 (3'0 with ears)
Weight:
Gender: Male
Name: Luka
Age: Unknown
Height: 6'2
Weight:
Gender: Female
--Biography--
Sepia was originally a veterinary aid and lived in the veterinary clinic where he worked. However, as he was forced to speak with animals who had to be put down or mothers whose babies did not survive, the job took a heavy toll on his psyche. He grew depressed and stopped talking to humans or other robots, shutting himself away from the world, and had trouble tending to his own needs. He grew issues with speaking to patients, stuttering and breaking off or upsetting them instead of calming them down. Even when sent to a **therapist**, he wouldn't speak with her and would instead talk with her **animal support unit**.
It was decided that he was unable to care for himself, socially nor physically, and wasn't able to continue working. As he no longer had a home, he was instead asked if he wished to be adopted, which he silently agreed to. At the adoption agency, he was picked up by a kangaroo reploid named Luka, who was looking for a child.
Sepia remained mute at first, but Luka didn't try to force him to speak and instead used physical cues to see what he wished. Therapy sessions were fruitless, but eventually Sepia begun to speak with Luka. (His first words to her were "thank you".) He remained quiet most of the time, and his voice was low, but it was a start and Luka gently coerced him into speaking with other people. As therapy went nowhere, sessions stopped.
After seeing an ad for a cashier job at **Kikari's pet store**, Luka mentioned the possible job for Sepia, who to her surprise agreed. However, soon after he started working, he was attacked and nearly murdered by a robot that mistook him for someone else. A customer, **Astro**, stopped the robot and after seeing Sepia regress into a near-mute state, he offered to be bodyguard. Astro took over the job as cashier until Sepia felt well enough to resume, until then letting the jerboa tend to the animals.
Although there were no further murder attempts Sepia was subject to multiple death threats when Astro was gone or busy, leaving him traumatized. Luka took him away from the job after finding out, refusing to let him do any more work despite Sepia wanting to continue, until Kikari offered a more permanent bodyguard, someone that would stay by his side 24/7, after which Luka very hesitantly agreed. Sepia got to pick for himself what he wanted, and he picked a bear. The bear would follow Sepia and stay by his side constantly, picking him up if it felt he was in danger, after which the threats have ceased.
Unable to focus his attention on it, Kikari eventually gave the pet shop to Sepia, though the jerboa still considers Kikari to be the "real" owner.
--Appearance--
Sepia has a large animaloid head with long ears and a small body. He has small and short arms, with very large segmented legs and a long tail. He has humanoid hands, but the toes are basically painted on and cannot move independently of each other. The tail widens a bit at the end.
He is white in color, with brown at the ends of his ears and tail. His eyes are a sepia color, and he has freckles.
His ears and tail are natural-looking, and can bend and flop however they want.
He often huddles together or hides his nose behind the counter. He has a tendency to look tired and let his ears droop. He's quiet and dislikes to speak, so he often uses physical cues such as shaking his head or nodding instead. When he does speak, he uses as few words as he can. He has a dislike of doctors and veterinaries.
Luka looks roughly like a real kangaroo, but with more segmented pieces. She is visibly robotic, and is brown in color.
--Abilities--
Sepia is very well-versed in speaking with any and all animals in existence, and knows their languages better than he knows english.
He has very good hearing, and is quick to react to danger.
He notices very many things regarding body language, and is able to judge roughly what kind of person he is facing along with their mood.
Luka can leap very high and far distances.
She is handy with children, and has a lot of patience.
She is good at treating scrapes and wounds, and will take in any wounded person she finds.
Just like Sepia, she's rather good at noticing visual cues.
--Trivia--
Sepia was originally dark grey in color, but changed it after the murder attempt so he wouldn't be mistaken for another again. The robot who made the mistake thought he was **Squire**.
Luka was named after the vocaloid, while Sepia's name came from the color of his eyes.
Luka often carries Sepia in her pouch.

Target stared at the two newest challengers, four yellow eyes looking up at him expectantly. Was this really okay? They were no more than kittens, pitch-black kittens who wanted to throw their lives away being guardians... For an instant he thought of just rejecting them, denying them even the chance, but he'd heard they had already cleared some of the other trials and denying them even the possibility of proving their worth just wasn't right. Still... to let such mere children handle weapons...
"What happened to your tail?" one of the two suddenly asked, snapping Target out of his thoughts. He glanced back at the limb for a brief moment as he answered.
"A reckless challenger." he said in a warning tone, although from the expressions on the children's faces he was certain they didn't notice. "Guns are frightening and dangerous to those who can't use them."
The two kittens stared up at him with wide eyes. "We're gonna get to use guns?" one asked, a mixture of excitement and uncertainty in his voice. Target gave a somewhat hesitant nod, crossing his arms.
"I have nothing for people your size though..." he muttered. "Only standard rifles, and you're too short for the training range..."
"It's okay, we can use one!" the two children chimed. "We'll just use teamwork!"
Target cocked his head to the side, giving the two an incredulous look. To use teamwork on a gun ...? It was a unique idea, that much he had to admit. "Okay then, come on." he said, motioning for the two to follow as he headed to the shooting range. The two followed, bumbling over each other and excitedly discussing with each other who would do what, and it worried Target how carefree they were regarding the matter. They were only children; there was no way they knew how to use a gun...
As they reached the nearby shooting range Target told them to wait as he searched for a fitting rifle, but it soon became apparent that he had none. Even the smallest rifle was too large for such small children, and as he returned he was carrying the lightest rifle he had. It wasn't quite the smallest, but weight was far more important than size.
As the two children ran up to him, clinging to him and staring curiously at the gun, he grew annoyed. "Stop that!" he growled at them as they weighed his arms down, pushing the two away. "Be patient!"
Stumbling back a bit, the two kittens abruptly sat down. "Sorry!" one of them said cluelessly, as though he didn't know what was wrong about their actions. Target grumbled to himself as he crouched down, showing the rifle and explaining it to them. He took care to be detailed and avoid more complicated words, somewhat relieved to see that the children were paying attention. Many of his challengers simply brushed the information off or claimed they knew better, something which annoyed Target to no end as he invariably had to watch them fumble and fail instantly at their task. More than once it had ended with dislocated shoulders or near-deafness from incorrect firing, and all he would tell them was "you should have listened".
Still, these two kittens atleast seemed to take their challenge seriously, and Target soon gave them the rifle to practice. He gave them some noise-cancelling earmuffs as well; the sound of a rifle being fired was far worse than entertainment movies and comics would have you believe.
"Aren't you gonna wear any?" one of the kittens asked; he couldn't tell which one, they looked exactly alike.
"I'm used to the sound." he answered. "I'm around it every day."
The two seemed unsure, but they nevertheless put on the earmuffs. Target backed off a bit so as not to get in the way, watching as one of the kittens picked up the rifle and climbed onto the shoulders of the other. At once, as he tried to aim the rifle, Target realized it was going wrong. "Abort! I can't balance!" cried the one on top, but the one below was holding onto his legs and because of the earmuffs he couldn't hear. "Let go--!"
"What are you doing??" asked the bottom kitten, the wavering of the top one forcing him off balance. He stumbled back, which only worsened the situation for the top kitten, and before Target could make a move to help the two fell into a heap with a loud yelp. They dropped the rifle, which hit the ground next to them and-- bang.
Suddenly there was a sharp, burning pain filling his left ear. He cringed and backed off a step from instinct, before crouching together and raising his hands to the ear. As he touched the soft skin, half in shock, he realized exactly what happened. There was a large hole in his ear.
He felt stunned at the size of the hole. Did he have that caliber of bullet? After the first few seconds he barely even felt the pain anymore, just... shock. Had that shot struck just a bit differently he could have been killed. Cautiously he traced a finger around the hole; he still couldn't believe it was that large. Why was it that large? He felt something on his claw and withdrew it, looking at it to find a speck of blood and frowning. Oh. It's bleeding.
Suddenly he found something nudging him, tiny little hands pushing him back onto his butt, and he looked around to see the two black kittens crowding around him in panic. One had a medical kit, and he was about to ask why before he recalled that they always kept one by the training range to deal with those who harmed themselves. He tried to take it from them, but the child just batted his hand away and dug out some cotton, adding antiseptic to it before pushing it against the wound and taping it there. Target blinked, trying to move the ear away subconsciously, but it was held in place.
"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" whimpered the twin tending to his ear. "Are you okay!?"
"It's just cosmetic damage." Target answered, surprised at how calm his voice was. Well, maybe shock did funny things to a person. "I'll be fine."
"R-Really?" asked the other twin. Target lightly nudged the paws away from his ear as he nodded, climbing up to his feet.
"I'm fine. It doesn't even hurt." he answered.
"Will... will we fail?"
He hesitated, looking down at the two. Normally, yes... The last person who shot him, the one who struck his tail, had failed instantly. But then, he hadn't cared aside from an "oh crap, sorry" either... Target closed his eyes. "No... you responded by trying to repair the damage caused." he murmured. "And you haven't had a chance to fire correctly... I can't fault you for lacking proper equipment."
"Really...?" There was a sigh of relief, although Target disregarded it as he walked to the dropped rifle and picked it up.
"What happened?" he instead asked, turning to the kittens as he unloaded the bullets.
"The weight was uneven, I lost my footing..." murmured one. "I lost my balance and couldn't regain it, and the rifle was too heavy but I didn't want to drop it." added the other. Target just nodded as he listened, reloading the rifle with new bullets. "I called for him to let me down but he didn't!" "What? You did?"
"I know." Target interrupted. "Do you feel good enough to try again? You didn't seem to have hurt yourselves."
The two stared at him, both giving hesitant nods. "Do we have to have the earmuffs?" asked one.
"You'll harm your ears otherwise."
"But we can't hear each other if we have them."
"That's a risk, yes."
"We'd rather hurt our ears then!"
Target simply stared at the two incredulously. "Go ahead." he answered after a few seconds, giving a light nod. They'd figure out what a bad idea it was soon enough, and maybe then they would give up the challenge. Just as well; such small children had no business being guardians.
The two kittens murmured to each other, nodding and making plans, and as he waited for them to finish Target sat down and methodically cleaned the rifle. He ensured that the earlier event hadn't caused any dirt to get stuck in its mechanics, occasionally glancing to the two children. The shock had begun to fade, and his ear stung.
Maybe I should go to Ness... He shook his head, pushing away the option as soon as it surfaced. Ness was an annoyingly depressing person, and he wasn't willing to deal with the rabbit's apathic sorrow for the sake of cosmetic damage. No, he decided he would rather let it heal on its own. After all, it had been tended to already and the hospital wasn't likely to tell him anything of use.
As he finished cleaning the rifle, he stood up. The two black kittens looked up at him. "Are you ready?" he asked, which they answered with a synchronized nod. He held the rifle down to them, and they both grabbed one end each; one holding the rifle the way you usually would, while the other helped hold up the barrel.
Target watched them, head tilted to the side. "Are you certain that will work?" he asked, concerned for their hearing. He didn't want to be responsible for the loss of two children's senses, and it must have shown on his expression as the two stared up at him.
