The title says it all, what are songs that make you think of a specific character that you play?
I'm heading to school and it occurred to me to post this, I will post Syriana's theme song after I've given it some more though on my way to school.

Ah, I'll try to keep this to Forest charas and main charas. Wouldn't wanna cause a giant read. -w-
Kikari: FLOPPY - Chip Trick I dubbed this Kikari's themesong after I was searching specifically for themesongs. I don't know the lyrics one bit, but it's got a cute title and the song itself is quite cheerful and digitalistic. I forgot about it for a while, but when listening to it again recently I was instantly reminded of Kikari. Maybe when I figure out the lyrics, it'll change - but for now, this is Kikari's theme.
Devic: Green Day - Boulevard of Broken Dreams Ahh... When I was creating Devic and figuring out his past and such, this song was very popular on the radio. I listened to it in the car and such while developing Devic, usually doing this in the car due to boredom, and it ended up being the basis for many of his traits. To this day, whenever I hear that song or one similar to it I instantly think of Devic. I guess Popsel was the one who found him in the end, he's not alone anymore.
Sonci: ? - Behind Blue Eyes This one's mostly temporary. I heard it once on the radio, and I ended up thinking of Sonci. It fits him quite a bit, except the blue eyes, and it lets him be sad without going insane from guilt or blame someone else or something like most "I'm in a terrible situation" songs do. It's the version that doesn't break into a hardcore musical number toward the end, but stays calm during the whole song. Whichever version that is.
Plasma: Newgrounds - Guardian Star Another suggested by Xanit. Plasma is an overprotective and violent guard dog that used to be around at the same time as the character CC. The mood displayed in Guardian Star as such fits him perfectly.
Time: ? - Tik Tak This is some japanese song. It always makes me think of Time though, my adorable insane robot vampire. I think it's the changing pace and generally slow, calm tempo, I dunno. Strangely, I can't write about her to it...
Terracotta/Draco: ? - Brother Oh Brother This is another one I heard on the radio! It instantly made me think of these two, two stickmen siblings who were part of a storyline/plotline (Terracotta is now dead while Draco's MIA). Terracotta was manipulated by a creature called Father, and after he found out how much Father had manipulated and lied to him, he was powerless to stop him. Draco was still very young and, having been born and raised in the captivity of Father, was loyal to the creature and refused to hear his brother out. Thus, the situation described in the song fit them both perfectly. Especially if you take the "she will tear you apart" stuff literally.
Vortex: Skilletz - Open Wounds Ah, another minion of Father's. Vortex is a black hedgehog and the one who gave Devic all his scars, as well as force-starved him to zombie-proportions in the first place. Eventually however, Father tried to murder him. Multiple times. (It took a surprisingly long time to actually get rid of the guy.) Having been raised and horribly abused by Father, the song instantly made me think of Vortex, especially as I misheard the lyrics as "all I ever wanted was to be with you". It sums up his whole life - the "self-destruction" parts seem to come from after his betrayal, while other parts seem to come from when he was being abused the most.
AltBlend: Children of Bodom - Are you dead yet This song's all about self-loathing, as the "you" in the title refers to the singer. AltBlend hates himself because of what he's become, knowing fully well how broken he is. Hell, he saw it happen to someone else before it happened to him. (This is also the real reason he hates Blend so badly. It's a twisted form of self-loathing, like beating up your younger stupider self!) Astro suggested the song as a theme for someone else, I don't recall who, but the only one it can fit is altBlend. Fun fact: This song caused altBlend's dislike of mirrors and other reflective surfaces.
Gin: Wild Arms - You're Not Alone This is just a calm, nice song and I ended up thinking the mood fit Gin. The name might fit as well - despite being just a child, Gin was all alone until Speedline and the others stumbled onto her, and now tries to help everyone else so nobody has to fight alone.
And those are all I can think of. I think other characters are largely irrelevant to the Forest as a whole, rarely - if ever - appearing and having no real status in anything. If you want the themes of those guys too, though, then fine by me.

AltBlend: - I can't find this one anymore. It was a metal song I think, but I can barely remember anything. It was about self-loathing and involved something about breaking a mirror, and I thought it fit him really well, but I don't remember enough of it to make a useful search. Help would be appreciated. It was Children of Bodom's Are You Dead Yet off the album with the same name. I helped you find it, remember? :3 I can't think of any songs for any of my characters yet.

That was the one, thanks! I wasn't logging our PMs so I lost all that stuff, and then I couldn't tell the bands apart at all.
Mistakes fixed~

I'm just gonna add the actual song links to this if i can find them :] Zeet: DENTAKU - HaitacchiThe song sounds vaguely silly, upbeat and spacey, all the things Zeet pretty much embodies, so I figured it'd fit. :] Shotshell: Sex Machineguns - Japan ( Lyrics translation: www.mognet.net/lyrics.php?id=444&type=english ) Meet the biggest weeaboo Captain in the entire Maverick Hunter HQ, this song pretty much embodies it. If you need anymore proof, just read the lyrics :U ( Although I guess most people here don't know him because he doesn't appear in the #forest universe, eh. ) Moggy: Die Ärzte - Lied vom Scheitern ( The Song of Failing )Yeah.. He's pretty much a failure in all of his attempts to be threatening and to rule the clearing-area. The song pretty much fits his feelings "in private" most of the time, as he pretty much realizes he's a failure himself, but he's got several underlings to boost his ego every once in a while Ross: Dan Mangan - RobotsHe... Never appeared in the forest either, but. The song sort of fits how he feels and how I feel about him deserving more love, even though he's acted like quite a douchebag in the past. He's pretty much a reploid, joined the maverick hunters but then betrayed them, joined the Corruptors and then somewhat regretted that decision. www.youtube.com/watch#!v=y3lndvRhS_M <-- This makes me think of Virus speaking to Sonci for some reason. I'll post mroe after my exam :U

Crimson: Dr. Wily 1 - MM2 (20th Anniversary REMIX)
The reason I chose it for him, is each time I hear it I picture Crimson fighting this epicly huge mech. Jumping, slashing, dashing, and just generally kicking ass.
Malacoda: Hellsing OST - Thousand Fangs, Ten Thousand Eyes
This song is such a great mix of slightly creepy, but kick assery I thought it fit the way Malacoda just is extremely well.
Vitagox: Infected Mushroom - Vicious Delicious
I picked this song because of its frantic nature. Especially around the 2:20 mark. It just fits his rather goofy, but speedy personality.
Tera: Mute Math - Noticed
This song I picked because of her deal with Zakk. She honestly doesn't think much of herself as most her life she was simply a tool and nothing more. Through him and most of the foresters she found that she was truly worth something.

I feel like such a weeaboo. Oh, well, at least one of the songs isn't actually in Japanese, even if they are both from anime. Cecille: Still Small Voice - Ultra Relax 'Nuff said. Helen: Gabriela Robin - Cyberbird I imagine Helen flying to this. There's an active overtone to it, and even though it has a calm tone to it, it's not really calm, except in some points.

Charles: HORSE the band - Science PoliceMaverick personality; Dir en grey - ZANYes. This song fits his pre-going maverick personality rather well, I think. His personality actually stayed somewhat the same after going maverick in that he's still trying to discover and experiment as much as possible, but... Eh. He's completely "broken" mentally now. Maiden: Iron Maiden - Dream of MirrorsShe's pretty much a genetically engineered girl, produced in one of Charles' labs. She named herself after Iron Maiden, because she took a liking to their music. This is her favorite song by them, and thus it should probably be her themesong too. ( It's not my favourite tho :U )

Wat. Didn't we have a thread like this somewhere before? I clicked this thinking Vaxx bumped the OLD one. Haha.
I'm also at the same place as I was back then. I'm too indecisive and unoriginal to think up anything that would be a suitable theme song to either of my characters that isn't painfully obvious.

... Oh holy crap Vaxx that song is awesome for Virus.
Virus' old song was named "Virus", but it no longer fits his role. I thought he'd just be this evil jerk who screws Sonci over and does nothing of use, which his old song fits, but this new one works better with the role he's ended up having in the story - seeing how Sonci breaks apart and trying to help him stay sane and alive, although it's for selfish purposes and Sonci refuses to believe or listen to him.

Elixer: Rise Against - The good left undone www.youtube.com/watch?v=70hIRnj9kf8Ah... The reason this won out from three other songs was due to it always kicking up old memories and due to me linking this song to a bunch of happenings IC from a while back. Stupid calf. ( May change later )

I think I've gotten themes for my characters figured out.
Timibel: Fragment of Unbecoming's "Dear Floating Water" and Godhead's "The Hate In Me." When thinking up a new character, I listened to these two songs pretty often. I looked up the lyrics and made up, what I thought, were their meanings. I used those meanings and applied them to Timibel.
altAstro: ExInferis' "...Of Innocence and Vultures." A very nice instrumental. (It's about the only good song that band has.) There's a calm sound to it, even though it's all over the place every few minutes with the only lyrics being spoken words being the words about the last thoughts of a victim to the Salem Witch Trials. I can see altAstro while I listen to this. It's not that epic for such an epic intrumental.
Rygaars: Amon Amarth's "The Pursuit of Vikings." When hearing this, I can see Rygaars stepping off his ship on a deserted island then proceeding to rush at this large army of soliders and mythological creatures. Pretty epic.
Myrian: Anonymous' "Dies Irae." Hearing this in Music Class, I instantly took a liking to it. Hearing it later that day, I thought of Myrian. Not much else to it than that.
That's about it. Themes for the only four important characters I have.
