Honestly, I am just gonna let this go. Until it started again today. I am refreing to StormyD's comments.
For those that are not familiar with the situation, I will quickly recap. During some roleplay StormyD's character Supros did something I thought may have been godmoding. I have worked in management, and a very common "rule" in management, is when a plan is discussed, or decisions are made, a quick "recap" is done to eliminate misunderstandings.
StormyD made the following comment:
[04:39] <StormyD> Yeah, cuz non-specific answers didn't work for Lord Aaron, either.
[04:39] <StormyD> SAY THE SPECIFIC WORDS.
Which I felt was rather rude.
Those that were there that evening knew I was quite upset at the whole situation, and was one of the reasons I didn't bother to make any sort of issue about it. Today I decided I would just let it go. Until the following:
[22:58] <StormyD> ...so, Crimson and Cat weren't interesting?
Followed shortly by:
[23:02] <StormyD> Aaron? Care to respond>
[23:02] <StormyD> ?
[23:03] <Aaron`> What are you refreing to exactly StormyD?
[23:03] <StormyD> <Aaron`> I havent gone anywhere. Been actually sitting here for over an hour, waiting for snyone interesiung to show up to play./
[23:03] <StormyD> <StormyD> ...so, Crimson and Cat weren't interesting?
[23:03] <@destroyr> Enough
[23:04] <Aaron`> No, I care not to respond to that. Not interested in a fight.
[23:04] <StormyD> 'k.
Then, although not directly related, there were StormyD's comments about IC actions, based on OOC conversion.
[04:36] <StormyD> ...you know, the more bickering happens in here, the more the RP DRAGS, Aaron.
[04:36] <LappyCat> It was an example.
[04:36] <StormyD> And the more likely Supros breaks his stuff.
[04:36] <StormyD> and possibly a few employees.
Supros is more likely to break stuff, if bickering continues?
The bottom line of this post, is at the VERY least to politely ask, in a public setting, that StormyD cease these sort of comments. If you do not have anything pleasant to say to me, then please, say nothing.
Aside from that, I want to know, am I the only one that sees such comments as inappropriate, and serving no purpose then to cause bickering, arguments and fights? And if I am not the only one, then ask that someone do something to deal with this in some way. I don't come to roleplay to deal with these sort of comments. Also as I have previously stated, I have worked in management and seeing this 'side' of SuprosD brings to my concern what would happen if StormyD made these comments to other people new to the channel? Not everyone, heck most people, are not the type to try and resolve an issue, epically if they are new to some place.
So, please discuss. I look forward to getting to the absolute bottom of this, and putting this behind me.
