I'm Luke or you can call me Sorn. Sorn is an old name I got from a website somewhere, I forget, because I was trying to create a Drow for an Rp community on Ultima Online.
Anyhow, since then I've gone into D&D and Balder's gate, Icewind dale and a dozen UO Rp communities and experienced a wide range of different styles and types of communities. I suppose I want something low key and quiet without the flashing lights and bells.
I'm 29, and I enjoy writing, reading and I love finding and listening to new music and alternative sounds that are unexplored. I enjoy industrial, Swans, CocoRosie and a dozen other bands that no one's ever heard of.
Sorn is a Drow Elf from Faerun, on the world of Toril. He has taken up magic from a very young age and is now an accomplished spell weaver. He is cursed however with Imps bound to his body and soul in three vines. Three of the original six. Having been to the Abyss on two occasions and returned to Faerun both times, he has garnered a lot of information on different forms of life. He has grown extremely tolerant of Surface Elves and other races usually racially opposed to Drow. Though, he is always ready to fight anyone that decides he's a problem.
His curse entails that anything he touches slowly becomes disfigured, deformed, or darkened. His touch also conveys a feeling of unease, wrongness and a terrible sense of fear and doubt. He rarely touches anyone. If anyone were to be touched by him, say held... they would suffer for quite awhile and will need a skilled healer to drive the magical poison out. He won't let anyone do this for fear of the consequences. His vines are the source of this curse being that they were imps of the Nine Hells at one point, very old imps, and they speak within his mind. He can't always hear what they say as well, making Sorn trust these vines very little, despite how he uses them so often.
These imps need magical energy to feed on and they can heal him internally should injuries of any kind occur... this being one of many benefits.
More to come.
