To supplement the fighting style, he uses temporal powers (mastery of space) to create portals and warp instantaneously. Finally, he has a higher-than-normal knowledge of medicine for reasons explained in the biography below.
Biography:Dante Atticus Delacroix was born into a wealthy family in another universe. At a very young age, he showed a gift for shooting and his parents encouraged him to practice every day. Dante was also sent to school to study medicine. His mother wanted him to know the powers of life and death. Dante did not finish school, however, despite being at the top of his class. During a break from school, Dante went to visit his family. While out hunting one day during his vacation, he killed the biggest deer of his life. Proud of his accomplishment, he came home to find a pile of ashes.
His mother, father and two sisters were brutally tortured and left in the burning mansion. All Dante found were charred corpses. Later, he discovered the perpetrator, a business rival of his father's, and planned his revenge. The murderer was tied, bound and left in a burning house while Dante shot him through a window several times, all non-lethally, to make sure the man felt his burning death.
Dante took over both his father's and his father's rival's businesses, combining the two. His father was a industrial tycoon, the rival was the head of a large mining company. Showing a keen eye for business at 16 years old, Dante flourished, and, given his love for weapons, began producing tools of war from guns to tanks. One day, a buyer made a proposition to Dante that changed the young man's life.
The buyer was an interdimensional arms dealer, looking to collect specimens from various worlds to sells to others on the brink of war. He profited from death, an idea that seemed startling, but not repulsive, to Dante. The dealer said he needed someone with Dante's eye for business and charisma. Dante accepted the job offer, leaving his business to an associate and traveling between worlds more out of curiosity than greed.
What Dante did not know was that he was being used. Being young, he didn't understand that he was becoming the face of an organization with many enemies. The arms dealer was relatively safe while Dante was constantly under attack. Slowly realizing what was going on, Dante cut a deal with his enemies to benefit both himself and the business. He handed over the arms dealer under the condition that those seeking Dante's life leave him be. In return, Dante was to stop shipping weapons to the worlds of those the arms dealer had wronged.
The agreement was made, and the arms dealer cursed Dante with his last breath. Dante moved the headquarters of the interdimensional business to his homeworld, and began rebuilding the business he'd left behind. Combining the advanced technology of the worlds he visited to the global business he ran resulted in a period of drastic advancement on his world.
It was also during this time, in his early 20s, that Dante taught himself the physics of manipulating space. Relying on devices to travel between worlds was risky, after all. Dante mastered the skill, which aided in his business affairs.
During his time as an arms dealer, Dante crossed paths with the bounty hunter Zakk no less than 32 times. Dante was able to evade capture most of the time, but came close to being arrested or dying (depending on Zakk's mood) a few times. Zakk's contracts for Dante were offered through the Interdimensional Police Force (also known as InterDime), who had also had trouble arresting the arms dealer.
However, recently, there has been a shuffle in InterDime leadership. As a result, both major criminals, like Dante, and the strongest bounty hunters InterDime had to rely on, like Zakk, became the target of a massive campaign to redeem the authority of the force. All targets on InterDime's list, including Dante and Zakk, are slated to be killed, one way or another. While fleeing the force, Dante came across a small pocket dimension, and ended up in the Forest, where he also came into contact again with Zakk. Enlisting his aid, Dante is slowly preparing for the moment InterDime attacks the Forest.
