Here's where I'll put the variety of characters I plan to use on this site. Number one, step right up!
Name: Garshan
Race: Half-orc
Age: 41
Appearance: Garshan is a massive man who favors the orc side of his heritage heavily. He stands an inch or two over seven feet tall, with shoulders so broad he often has to go through doors sideways and a powerful, heavily muscled physique. His face his a mixture of human and orc, with a wide, jutting jaw, heavy tusks, and a flat nose. A pair of vividly green eyes stare out, the color of emeralds held up to catch the noonday sun, framed by a long, shaggy mane of midnight black hair. His skin is a bright emerald green beneath a dusting of black hair, and he wears a long fringe of beard around his chin.

Origin: Garshan is a man born to fail who decided to win. The product of a brutal rape, he was hated from the moment he was born. His mother died during that birth, and he was raised by a hateful, abusive grandfather who beat the young boy brutally and refused to so much as give him a name.
When he was eight, the abuse became too much to take and Garshan killed the man who raised him, taking an old axe and fleeing into the wilderness of the northern mountains. There he lived as a wild animal for several years, killing to survive and avoiding all contact with people, until the day he came upon an orc warrior hunting in the woods.
He was chased and cornered by the orc, and nearly killed him when at last he was forced to turn and fight. Impressed with the lad's prowess, the hunter brought him to his village and Garshan became a member of the tribe. As he grew to manhood, his strength and ferocity made him rise high, until he became the new chief.
The happiness was short-lived, however, for a band of soldiers attacked the village soon after and slaughtered them all. Only Garshan escaped. With no reason to stay anywhere, the half-orc became a wandering sellsword and saw much of the world over the next twenty years, liking little of it.
Everywhere he went, weak men of low morals ruled, crushing their far more able subjects into the ground, simply because of who their fathers had been. In time, he decided that something needed to be done. Returning to his northern homeland, he began a path of conquest, uniting the savage barbarian tribes under one banner and marching south to crush the weak civilizations of the world and re-forge them into something better.
This plan was spoiled by his inexplicable arrival in Konoki, but the half-orc has taken it in stride. Who knows what opportunities await him in this new world?
Weapons: Garshan uses weapons that only a man of his size and power could wield effectively. His weapon of choice is a massive axe, dwarf-forged to be nigh-indestructable, with a huge double blade as wide as a man's waist.
